We have made payment of this claim in the amount of 5350.50. Additionally, our insured had a $50.00 deductible and the total amount of damage was $400.50. In view of the fact that this loss was apparently caused by the improper regulation of the city water system, we hereby make demand upon you for payment of the above amount.
