Then and there local public officials and interested groups and individuals may be heard regarding the following proposal. Project Description Project OS -0100(1) West Pine Avenue Meridian, Idaho This project proposes widening West Pine Avenue in Meridian, Idaho from Meridian Street to Linder Road, a distance of one mile. The widening would provide for two traffic lanes with sufficient width for parallel parking on both sides of the street. A sidewalk would be provided for the full length of the project on the north side. Concrete curb and gutter would be provided on both sides for the full length of the project. A storm drain system to Ninemile Drain would be provided. A five-foot strip of additional right of way along the north side of the westerly half mile of the project would be required. Locally, West Pine Avenue carries a high volume of traffic. The Meridian High School is located near the intersection of West Pine Avenue and Linder Road. The intersection of West Pine Avenue and Meridian Street is .in the downtown business area of Meridian. The purpose of this project is to improve safety and convenience of vehicles and pedestrians moving along this street.
