Implementation Actions
Develop a future facility plan map delineating facilities to be developed and where they will be located in order to limit jurisdictional conflicts, minimize duplication of services
with other existing cities service boundaries, and help ensure that the county in not in conflict with existing cities proposed goals and objectives.
Conduct a regional, County-wide process to determine long-range priorities and opportunities for open space acquisition, including identification of a stable, long-term, publicly supported
funding approach.
Coordinate with all local and State governments, recreation user groups and non-governmental organizations to develop a County-wide open space plan.
Explore the need for, develop and coordinate, if warranted, a plan similar to the Ridge to Rivers Plan for the areas of Eagle, Star, Kuna and unincorporated areas of the County.

Incorporate the Open Space Task Force report and recommendations into the County’s Parks, Open Space and Trail Plan.
Take the updated Plan through the public hearing process.

Coordinate with Cities to jointly implement the tenets of a County-wide open space program, including a County-wide trails system.
