Project description This development is intended to set the standard for future developments in the surrounding area without a major impact on the surrounding community. The 2233 East Thomas Road neighborhood retail center will include a diverse assortment of businesses. The Phoenix, AZ 85016-3474 buildings will be designed to compliment each other bringing a unified look and (602) 955-3900 Phone feel to the area. (602) 955-0496 Fax Architectural character description www.rkaa.com The architectural design character of the exterior buildings represents a unique blend of current contemporary design with a hint of Colonial design. Facades on each end of the building clearly define the primary entrances. Varying roof lines along with color, material and texture variations set the tone of a high quality building with an aesthetically appealing draw. Color and material description A theme of blended forms and integrated materials with soft natural earth tone colors provides a relaxed and informal elegance. Shapes, colors, textures and materials selected for the project make the building visually attractive. Pedestrian walkways The wide pedestrian walkways clearly define the main entrances to the building and are protected from weather by multiple awnings and facades. Internal pedestrian walkways are identified through the use of painted concrete. Summary The developer is proposing a Commercial Center that will provide the community with small to mid -scale retail destinations and service establishments without negatively impacting the existing community.
