For this very reason, ClearWire is requesting an administrative review approval for adding one additional antenna and two additional BTS units to an existing configuration of Clearwire equipment located on the wireless telecommunications of the above referenced tower site. Clearwire has previously installed antennas, BTS units, and microwave dishes on this site which provide wireless internet to its customers. Because of the growing demand from Clearwire's customers, additional BTS units are needed to ease some capacity issues for the neighborhoods surrounding this tower site. The proposed BTS units will be placed on a H -frame within the existing area, and will not be visible behind the fence. The BTS units are very small in size, weighing only 25 pounds. The antenna will be placed on the existing pipe adjacent to the existing antennas and dishes. All of the antennas and MW dishes are hidden behind a stealth screening and will not be visible to the neighbors. To summarize this application, ClearWire is requesting the City of Meridian Planning and Development Services to issue an administrative approval for the co -location of new ClearWire equipment to this existing wireless telecommunications facility. The additional antenna and BTS units are needed to solve capacity issues within the neighborhoods surrounding the site location. The only additional equipment that will be placed on the ground will be two additional BTS units, which will be placed on the H -frame. Thank you for your consideration of this proposal and I hope that the foregoing and enclosures are adequate to provide an evaluation of our proposed project. Should you have any questions or clarification of documentation, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be happy to provide you with any further assistance. Sincerely, JXrp-n 49. ASSUMPTIONS Monopole was fabricated and installed in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Monopole has been properly maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. The configuration of antennas, transmission cables, mounts and other appurtenances are as specified in Tables 1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B and the referenced drawings. If any of the above assumptions are not valid or have been made in error, then the results of this analysis may be affected. In that case, please notify the Crown Castle Corporate Engineering Department immediately so that we can review any new and/or modified information and determine its affect on the analysis results regarding the structural adequacy of the monopole and foundation. ANALYSIS RESULTS Our structural analysis indicates that the existing monopole structure and foundation have sufficient capacity to adequately support the existing, reserved, and proposed loading. This tower is designed using the TIA/EIA-222-F standard. The following design criteria apply: 1. Tower is located in Ada County, Idaho. 2. Basic wind speed of 75 mph. 3. Nominal ice thickness of 0.5000 in. 4. Ice density of 56 pcf. 5. A wind speed of 65 mph is used in combination with ice. 6. Temperature drop of 50 °F. 7. Deflections calculated using a wind speed of 50 mph. 8. A non-linear (P -delta) analysis was used. 9. Pressures are calculated at each section. 10. Stress ratio used in pole design is 1.333. 11. Local bending stresses due to climbing loads, feedline supports, and appurtenance mounts are not considered.
