For this very reason, ClearWire is requesting an administrative review approval for adding three additional antenna BTS units to an existing configuration of Clearwire equipment ocated on the wireless telecommunications of the above referenced tower site. Clearwire has previously installed antennas, BTS units, and microwave dishes on this site which provide wireless internet to its customers. Because of the growing demand from Clearwire's customers, additional BTS units are needed to ease some capacity issues for the neighborhoods surrounding this tower site. The proposed BTS units will be placed on a H -frame within the existing leased area. The BTS units are very small in size, weighing only 25 pounds. All of the antennas and MW dishes are hidden behind a stealth screening and will not be visible to the neighbors. To summarize this application, ClearWire is requesting the City of Meridian Planning and Development Services to issue an administrative approval for the co -location of new ClearWire equipment to this existing wireless telecommunications facility. The additional BTS units are needed to solve capacity issues within the neighborhoods surrounding the site location. The only additional equipment that will be placed on the ground will be two additional BTS units, which will be placed on the electrical frame. Thank you for your consideration of this proposal and I hope that the foregoing and enclosures are adequate to provide an evaluation of our proposed project. Should you have any questions or clarification of documentation, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be happy to provide you with any further assistance. Sincerely, Jason S. Stealth Pole for ClearWlre Meridian Middle School Site — Bolse ID #1015 1507 W. St" Street Meridian, ID 83642 Tobias & West Project No.: 05-102 Dear Mr. Bordon: Per your request, we have reviewed the CDMI "Lite Site" product and steel pipe monopole for use at the above referenced address. The stealth pole is comprised of a 42 ft long steel pipe monopole (20 ft long, 10" diameter pole, schedule 40 pole and a 22 ft long, 8" diameter, schedule 40 pipe) and 8 ft antenna concealment. The design of the "Lite Site" base as shown on CDMi drawing 055-4-1217 and the details shown on the fabrication drawing (6434) for the 42 ft monopole by Plas-tal Mfg. Co., Inc. meet the requirements of TiA/EIA-222-F "Structural Standards for Steel Antenna Towers and Antenna Supporting Structures" dated June, 1996 and as a referenced of the 2003 International Building Code (IBC) (Section 3108.4). In addition, the "Lite -Site" product has been designed to withstand the seismic loading requirements of the 2003 IBC. The "Lite Site" Is a self-contained cell site. The base Is a welded channel frame that is assembled in the field and filled with ballast. The base assembly acts as the base or foundation to support the 18" diameter steel pipe monopole and equipment shelter on grade, Please see attached CDMI reference drawing #055-4-1217 Rev. B dated 11/26/03 for the "Lite-Slte" base and Plas-tal Mfg. Co., Inc. drawing (job #6434) for the steel monopole. Our analysis of the "Lite --Site" frame and monopole are capable of withstanding a maximum overturning moment of 63 ft -kips with 17,000 pounds of ballast. This exceeds the required overturning moment for this pole of 11.3 ft -kips. The ballast used for the "Lite -Site" base can be added as concrete block stacked in the frame oras poured concrete In the frame. Thank you for this opportunity to be of service and If you have any questions regarding this matter please feel free to -contact myself at (843)216-9820. Q84142.9. ALLIANCE I a"W of JU.Ly December 6, 2005 Mr. Lloyd Bordon Skywaves West 10309 Canyon Valley Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89145 Re: Lite -Site for 60 ft. Stealth Pole for ClearWlre Meridian Middle School Site — Boise ID #1016 1507 W. 8th Street Meridian, ID 83642 Tobias & West Project No.: 05102 Dear Mr. Bordon; Per your request, we have reviewed the CDMI "Lite Site" product and steel pipe monopole for use at the above referenced address. The base assembly acts as the base or foundation to support the 18" diameter steel pipe monopole and equipment shelter on grade. Please see attached CDMI reference drawing #055-4-1217 Rev. B dated 11/26/03 for the "Lite -Site" base and Plas-tal Mfg. Co., Inc. drawing (job #6434) for the steel monopole. Our analysis of the "Lite -Site" frame and monopole are capable of withstanding a maximum overturning moment of 63 ft -kips with 17,000 pounds of ballast. This exceeds the required overturning moment for this pole of 11.3 ft -kips. The ballast used for the "Lite -Site" base can be added as concrete block stacked in the frame or as poured concrete In the frame. Thank you for this opportunity to be of service and if you have any questions regarding this matter please feel free to -contact myself at (843) 216-9820.
