Conditions of Approval:
^ Approval to conduct the Idaho Water Sports Boat show from May 1, 2008 through May 5,
2008. After the termination of this use the site shall be returned to a clean condition, free of
debris and garbage.
^ Temporary structures and merchandise shall be displayed so as not to interfere with the
clear vision triangle. In no case shall items be displayed, or business conducted within the
public right of way, unless othervvise authorized by the transportation authority (UDC11-
3 E-4B2).
^ Per UDC 11-3E-4C1, a maximum of one temporary structure shall be allowed and
may cover a maximum of seven hundred (700) square feet.
^ The use shall not result in the constraction of ariy permanent structures that would not
otherwise be permitted subject to the regulations of this Title (UDC 11-3E-4C2).
^ Any temporary structures shall be portable and completely removed at the end of the
allowed time period (UDC 11-3E-4C3).
^ The applicant sha11 obtain any necessary building permits (UDC 11-3E-4C4).
^ Adequate off-street parking shali be provided to serve the use (UDC 11-3E-4E 1).

Roarin~ Snrings Boat Show Agreement
The mission behind the Roaring Springs Boat Show is to increase public awareness of the
boating industry and the activities associated vvith boating.
By entering into this agreement your company is agreeing to the following terms and
conditaons:
1. Each participant will pay $4,000 to participate in the show. A$500 deposit is due
~ no later than the seventh day of March. The remainder of the participation fee

The partici~ants will be renting space at Roaring Springs on May 2

6. Roaring Springs and Idaho Water Sports will not be held accountable for any
damage that may occur as a result of participating in the show.
7. All participants have the right to participate in and sponsor other events that may
take place at Roaring Springs. With the understanding that a11 other events and
sponsorships will be coordinated through Roaring Springs and will remain
separate from the terms and conditions of this Boat Show agreement.
8. Vendor booths will be available at the following rates:
•$250 for the duration of the boat show applicable to "for profit" vendors
•$0 for the duration of the boat show applicable to "not for profit" vendors
9. Funds will be distributed in the following manner:
• $7,500 rent
•$10,000 advertising to begin two weeks prior to the show
•$6,500 to be used to cover any additional expenses (a)

Roarinq Springs Boat Show Aqreement
1. Rent rate will be $2500 per day for a total of $7500. Dates of rentai are

May 5, 2008.. Boat dealers may charge admission into event.
2. Wave pool will be filled for use at the event. Roaring Springs lifeguards
may be present when participants are in the water.
3. Renting party agrees to hold a certificate of liability insurance in the
amount of one million dollars, naming BowDen Properties, DBA Roaring
Springs Waterpark, as additionally insured in each category of property
damage and personal injury.
4. Renting party agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BowDen
Properties, DBA Roaring Springs Waterpark, their officers, employees,
and agents from any and all demands, claims, suits, actions or liabilities
resulting from injuries or death to any person, or property damage or
losses which occur during, or are related to the period covered by the
rental.
5. Renting party shall pay any and all damages to BowDen Properties, DBA
Roaring Springs Waterpark, including loss or theft of such property arising
out of actions by the renter, its officers, guests, or invitees.
6. BowDen Properties, DBA Roaring Springs Waterpark, is not responsible
for any merchandise or articles left on the premises.
7. Lease holder for BowDen Properties, DBA Roaring Springs Waterpark
zoning permit allows for selling and trade of boats.
8. Restrooms available with handicapped accessibility, limited food service
for purchase provided by Roaring Springs, electricity, parking, all included
in rental fee.
9. Idahv Water Sports may display banners at the Wave Pool during
H2Overload in exchange for providing "wench boarding" at the event,
dates to be determined.
