The Purchasing Department respectfully requests that the following item be placed on the
April 8 City Council Consent Agenda for Council's consideration.
Award of Bid and Approval of Agreement for Independent Contractor Services for
Adventure Islanad Park Playground Improvements Phase 4. The Bid was opened on
March 13, 2008. The Agreement is the City's standard Agreement for Independent
Contractor Services.
Recommended Council Action: Award of Bid to Haemker General
Construction and Approval of Agreement for the Not-To-Exceed amount of the
Bid Award of $288,000.00., and authorize the Mayor to sign and City Clerk to
attest.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Haemker General Construction. was the low bidder at $306,867.51. Since the
bid opening the cost of rock has dropped and contractor has passed on the
cost savings.
