BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, BORTON, ROUNTREE, ZAREMBA
A RESOLUTION VACATING THE 10 FOOT PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENT PLATTED ON LOTS 1-12 OF THE QUEENLAND ACRES
SUBDIVISION LYING IN THE NW 1/, NE '/ OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 3
NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, STATE OF
IDAHO; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on September 25, 2007 the City Council of the City of Meridian,
held a hearing on the vacation of the 10-foot public utility easement platted on Lots 1 -
12 of the Queenland Acres Subdivision lying in the NW '/, NE '/ of Section 24,
Township 3 North, Range 1 West, City of Meridian, Ada County, State of Idaho, and
WHEREAS, after such hearing, the City Council, by formal motion, did approve
said described vacation; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the vacation of the 10-foot public utility easement platted on Lots
1 - 12 of the Queenland Acres Subdivision lying in the NW '/, NE '/ of Section 24,
Township 3 North, Range I West, City of Meridian, Ada County, State of Idaho, is
hereby vacated. Copies of the necessary relinquishments are attached as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
its adoption and approval.
