487A Settlers Village Subdivision VAC13'7 AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 487 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE ZONE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, WHICH IS DESCRIBED AS LOTS 4,5,6, AND 7, BLOCK 1, AND LOTS 4,5,6, AND '7, BLOCK 2, SETTLERS VILLAGE SUBDIVISION, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO AND VACATING THE ACCESS EASEMENT TWENTY FEET IN WIDTH ALONG THE WESTERN END OF LOTS 3,4,5,6, AND 7, BLOCK 2, AND THE FIFTEEN FOOT WIDE WALKWAY EASEMENT ALONG THE NORTH END OF LOT 7, BLOCK 2, SETTLERS VILLAGE SUBDIVISION, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, BUT LEAVING IN TACT THE DRAINAGE'AND UTILITY EASEMENTS THAT RUN CONCURRENT TO THE ACCESS AND WALKWAY EASEMENTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFEC- TIVE DATE. WHEREAS.,, 'the •~Mayor 'and City ~' Council of the City of Meridian, State of - ~ ,5 ~ ., Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best interest of said City to amend and change the zoning from CG, General Retail and Service Commercial to R-8, Residential for the following described land: LOTS 4,5,6, AND 7 BLOCK 1 AND LOTS 4,5,6 AND 7, BLOCK 2, SETTLERS VILLAGE SUBDIVISION, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO. ~ - ~ -•'~ y~~ WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian, ,Idaho have concluded that it is in the best interest of said City to vacate the access " easement twenty feet in width along the west end of Lots 3,4,5,6 and 7, Block 2, and the fifteen foot walkway easement on the north sides of Lots 7, Block 2, Settlers Village Subdivision, Ada County, Idaho. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho. SECTION 1. That the aforementioned real property which is described as follows: LOTS 4,5,6, and 7, Block 1, and LOTS 4,5,6, and 7, BLOCK 2, SETTLERS VILLAGE SUBDIVISION, ADA COUNTYr IDAHO. Be and the same hereby is rezoned from CG, General Retail and Service Commercial to R-8 Residential and that Section 11-2-425, Official Zoning Maps is hereby amended to reflect the same. SECTION 2: That the access easement twenty feet in width along the west end of LOTS 3,4,5,6 and 7, Block 2, and the fifteen foot walkway easement on the north side of Lot 7, Block 2, is hereby vacated but lefy intact are the drainage and utility easements which run concurrent with the access and walkway easements. SECTION 3: That due to problems with irrigation and the legal description with the above property and adjacent property on the east, owned at the present time by Steven Michaels, this ordinance shall not be published until those irrigation and legal description problems are resolved; evidence of their resolution .shall be signed statements to that effect by Steven Michaels. 1.38 SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval as required by law. KINGSFORD, YOR ATTEST: ORDINANCE N0. 507 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN AMENDING CHAPTER 3, TITLE 10 OF THE REVISED AND COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN BY THE ADDITION OF LEGISLATIVE LANGUAGE TO SECTION 10-308 WHICH SECTION WAS HERETOFQRE RESERVED AND WHICH LANGUAGE ADOPTS A PARKING LIMITATION FOR COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL VEHICLES IN EXCESS OF 30,000 POUNDS LICENSED GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Meridian, State of Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best interests of said City to amend Chapter 3, Title 10, of the Revised and Compiled Ordinances of the City of Meridian to provide for a limitation of commercial or industrial vehicle parking in other than commercial or industrial zoned districts, and WHEREAS, Section 10-308 was specifically reserved for a parking provision relating to the parking of commercial and industrial vehicles. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO: SECTION 1. That Section 10-308 of Chapter 3, Title 10 of the Revised and Compiled Ordinances of the City of Meridian, previously reserved, is hereby amended and re-adopted and shall read as follows: 10-308 PARKING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES IN EXCESS OF 30,000 POUNDS LICENSED GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT: No person shall park any commercial or industrial vehicle which has a licensed gross vehicle weight in excess of 30,000 pounds in the City except in commercial or industrial zoned districts or except for the purposes stated in 10-307C.
