AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE '.TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS OF' THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN BY REPEALING SECTION 1-704 OF THE REVISED AND COMPILED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN AND RE-ENACTING SAID SECTfiON TO
MAKE THE CHANGE IN DAY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS., the Mayor and City Council of the City of Meridian,
State of Idaho, have concluded that it. is. in the best interests of
said City to change the day of the. Council meetings and thus to re-
peal Section 1-704 of the Meridian Ordinances effective as set forth
hereinafter, and to re-enact said section with the changed date.
NOW, THEREFORE,~BE IT~ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, .IDAHO:
SECTION l.. .That Sec ion 1-704, TIME AND PLACE OF 'MEETINGS,
of the City Council Ordinances, is: hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. That Section 1-704, TIME AND I?L,ACE OF MEETINGS, is
hereby re-enacted and which shall read as follows:
1-704: TIME AND PLACE OF PEETINGS: The regular'cneetings of
the, City Counc.l.s.hall be held at such place as mazy be designated
from time to time by the Mayor and City Council, on the first and
third Tuesday of each month at seven thirty o`clock (7:30)P.M., of
said days. If the said first or third Tuesdays~.of any month is a
holiday, the meeting shall be held the evening follgwing at the
same hour.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE: The. Ordinance shall be in full

force and effect from and after March 31, 1987 and after
its passage, approval and publication according to law.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PLUMBING CODE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN
BY REPEALING SECTIONS 2-201 THROUGH 2-208 OF TITLE 2; CHAPTER 2,
OF THE REVISED AND COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN
AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 2-201 TO ADOPT THE UNIFORM PLUMBING ~:
CODE, 1985 EDITION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DAT:E•.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Meridian,
State of Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best interests
of said City to amend the plumbing code by repealing Sections
2-201 through 2-208 of Title 2, Chaptex 2, and re-enacting
Section 2-201 to adopt the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1985 Edtipn.
NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT ORDAINED BY' THE MAYOR AND C~TX CQUNC~;L
OF THE CITY' OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY`, IDAHO:
SECTION 1. That Sections 2-201 through 2-208, PLUMBING
CODE, shall be repealed.

CODE, shall be re-enacted and shall xead as ~ollows~
2-201: ADOPTION OF PLUMBING CODE: THere is hereby adopted
by the City of Meridian fox the pu~xpose of establishing ~nninimuzn
standards of design, materials and workmanship for all ~lu~nbing
hereafter installed, altered ox repaired, and to establish'cnethods
of procedure within the City limits that certain 3lumbng Code
