ORDINANCE NO. 423
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4-103, TITLE IV, CHAPTER I, REVISED AND COMPILED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, ENTITLED PLANNING
COMMISSION, OFFICERS: MEETINGS: RULES, TO REFLECT THAT THE TIME OF THE REGULAR
MONTHLY MEETING SHALL BE 7:30 O'CLOCK P.M.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian, Idaho have
concluded that it is in the best interest of said City to amend Section 4-103,
Title IV, Chapter I, Planning Commission, Officers; Meetings; Rules, of the
Revised and Compiled Ordinances of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho,
changing the time of the regular monthly meeting of the Planning and Zoning
Commission from 8:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN'AND
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO,
Section 1. That Section 4-103 shall be amended and hereby is amended to
read as follows:
4-103
OFFICERS; MEETING; RULES: The Commission shall elect such officers as
it may determine it requires.
One regular meeting of the Commission shall be held each month, on the second
Monday at 7:30 o'clock (7:30) p.m. A majority of the appointive members of the
Commission shall be necessary to constitute a quorum at any meeting. All
meetings shall be open to the public. Written rules for the conduct of the
business of the Commission consistent with the laws of the State and City
Ordinances for the transaction of the business of the Commission shall be
adopted by the Commission and a written record shall be kept of the meetings,
resolutions, findings and determinations of the commission, which record shall be
a public record.
Section 2. WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which emergency is
declared to exist, this Ordinance-shall take effect and be in force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 1st day of August 1983.
