I I 289 SECOND AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 377 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND ZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY WHICH IS DESCRIBED AS A PART OF THE SE 1/4, SW 1/4 and the SW 1/4, SW 1/4 of Section 8, T.3N., R.1E., B.M., Ada County, Idaho, and the S 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 8, T.3N., R.IE" B.M., Ada County, Idaho, TO THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, WHICH PROPERTY IS ADJACENT TO AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO. WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian have concluded that it is in the best interest of said City to annex to the said City certain real property which is described as follows: PARCEL I: Locust Grove Industrial Park Subdivision as recorded at pages 3391 and 3392, Book 41 of Plats, Ada County Recorder, 30 acres, more or less; and A parcel of land in the SE 1/4, SW 1/4 and the SW 1/4, SW 1/4 of Sec,tion 8, Township 3 North, Range 1 East, Boise Meridian, Ada County, Idaho-, andmqre particularly described as follows: ' Beginning at the Northeast corner of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said Section'" 8, and running thence South 155 feet more or less to the Northeast --Coroner 9;:~ ~~ the Locust Grove Industrial Park Subdivision as recorded in the office of the~-: Ada County Recorder IS Office in Book 41 of Plats, pages 3391 and 3392; thence'-- 3 North 88057144" West 1,984.89 feet along the railroad right-of-way and the .~ Northerly boundary of said Locust Grove Industrial Park Subdivision to., the' Northwest corner of said subdivision; thence Northerly 105 feet moreoi-' ~ess along a line extended from and parallel to the West boundary of said subdivision to a point on the North line of the SW 1/4, SW 1/4 of said Section 8; thence East along the Northerly line of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said Section 8, 1,984 feet more or less to the point of beginning. Containing approximately 5.9 acres. PARCEL II: The South 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 8, T.3N., R.IE., B.M., in Ada County, Idaho (30 acres, more or less). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO: Section L That the aforementioned real property, which is described as follows: PARCEL I: Locust Grove Industrial Park Subdivision as recorded at pages 3391 and 3392, Book 41 of Plats, Ada County Recorder, 30 acres, more or less; and A parcel of land in the SE 1/4, SW 1/4 and the SW 1/4, SW 1/4 of Section 8, Township 3 North, Range 1 East, Boise Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said section 8, and running thence South 155 feet more or less to the NE corner of the Locust Grove Industrial Park Subdivision as recorded in the office of the Ada County Recorder I s Office in Book 41 of Plats, pages 3391 and 3392; thence North 88057144" West 1,984.89 feet along the railroad right-of-way and the Northerly boundary of said Locust Grove Industrial Park Subdivision to the Northwest corner of said subdivision; thence Northerly 105 feet more or less along a line extended from and parallel to the West boundary of said subdivision to a point on the North line of the SW 1/4, SW 1/4 of said Section 8: thence East along the Northerly line of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said Section 8, 1,984 feet more or less to the point of beginning. containing approximately 5.9 acres. That the City Clerk shall cause one (1) copy of the legal description and map which shall plainly and clearly designate the boundaries as altered, to be filed with the Ada County Recorder, Ada County Assessor, and the State Tax Commission within ten (10) days following the effective date of this ordinance. Section 3. The above-described property is annexed to the City of Meridian subject to the following requirements: 1) the Preliminary Plats answer to the questions of traffic, landscaping, sewer and water connections and design review; and 2) no variances for interim septic tank and field drains will be allowed; and 3) that the period from January 28, 1980, until the time the building permit is issued shatl be no longer than two (2) years, and if it is longer, deannexation proceedings may begin. Section 4 _ This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
