ORDINANCE NO. 403
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 16, OF THE REVISED AND
COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ENTITLED WINE, BY
ELIMINATING THE PROVISION FOR REDUCED FEE WHEN A LICENSE IS ISSUED
DURING A LICENSE YEAR.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of
Meridian have concluded that it is in the best interest of said
City to amend Title 3, Chapter 16, Section 3-1605, Wine,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That Title 3, Chapter 16, Section 3-1605, Wine,
shall be and the same is hereby amended by eliminating the provision
for reduced fee when a license is issued during a license year, and
Section 3-1605 shall read as follows:
3-1605 LICENSE FEE: The license fee imposed and collected
shall be the sum of Two Hundred Dollars (~200.00) per
year. Such license year shall be from 12:01 A.M. January 1 through
12:00 P.M. December 31; that the license fee of $200.00 per year
shall be paid in full regardless of the date of application for the
license.
Section 2. WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which
emergency is declared to exist, this ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage, approval and publication as
required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 1st day of February, 1982.
