AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND ZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY WHICH IS
DESCRIBED AS FOllOW: THE NORTH 40.00 FEET OF THE NE 1/4 NE 1/4
SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST OF THE BOISE MERIDIAN,
THE SE 1/4 SE 1/4 AND A PORTION OF THE NE 1/4 SE 1/4 OF SECTION 13,
TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST OF THE BOISE MERIDIAN AND A PORTION
OF THE GOVERNMENT lOT 3 AND THE GOVERNMENT lOT 4 OF SECTION 18,
TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST OF THE BOISE MERIDIAN, TO THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN, WHICH PROPERTY IS ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian,
have concluded that it is in the best interest of said City to annex
to said City certain real property which is described as follows:

SOUTH GATE ANNEXATION
This parcel is the North 40.00 feet of the NE 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 24,
Township 3 North, Range 1 West of the Boise Meridian, the SE 1/4
SE 1/4 and a portion of the NE 1/4 SE 1/4 of Section 13, Township
3 North, Range 1 West of the Boise Meridian and a portion of the
Government lot 3 and the Government lot 4 of Section 18, Township
3 North, Range 1 East of the Boise Meridian and is more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said Section 13, which point is
also the Southwest corner of said Section 18 and the Northeast corner
of said Section 19;
Thence South P02'14" West along the centerline of State Highway No. 69,
a distance of 40.00 feet;
Thence North 89046150" West along a line parallel with the North
boundary of the NE 1/4 NE 1/4 of said Section 24 which line is also
the South right-of-way boundary of Overland Road, a distance of

the left having a radius of 2231.83 feet, a central angle of 8043'22"
and a long chord which bears South 73019'27" East, a distance of 339.45
feet to a point on the West boundary of the "Thomas Annexation";

Annexation" which line lies 414.5 feet West of the East boundary of said

Be and the same is hereby accepted, as requested by the owners, and
made a part of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, and said real
property is hereby zoned as follows: "C" Commercial.
Section 2. ThaLthe City Clerk shall cause one (1) Copy of the
legal description and map which shall plainly and clearly designate the
boundaries as altered, to be filed with the Ada County Recorder, Ada
County Assessor, and the State Tax Commission within 10 days following
the effective date of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and pUblication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, thislth day of May, 1979.
