AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND ZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY ltfHICH IS
DESCRIBED J1.S FOllOWS: A PORTION OF THE E 1/2 5h1 1/4, SECTION
12, T. 3N., R. lW., B.M., ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, TO THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, WHICH PROPERTY IS ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of ~1eri di an,
have concluded that it is in the best interest of said City to annex
to said city certain real property which is described as follows:

POINT OF BEGINNING: thence, easterly parallel to the South boundary
of said Sec~, 204.58 feet more or less to a point 2444.79 feet East
and 30 feet North of Section corner common to Sections 11, 12, 13,
and 14; thence, North 0005140" Hest, 299.25 feet to a point; thence,
North 82041140" West, 139.58 feet to a point; thence, North 0000135"
West, 288.00 feet more or less to a point that is N. 0000'35" Hest

and 14, East along the Section line, 2306.37 feet; thence North
0005'40" West 30.0 feet to a point on the Northerly right of
way line of Highway 30, the POINT OF BEGINNING: thence East
along said right of way, 138.42 feet; thence North 0005'40" West
along a fence, 299.25 feet to a steel pin; thence North 82041'40"
West along a fence, 139.58 feet to a steel pin; thence South 00
05140" East along a fence, 3i7.00 feet to the POINT ()F BEGINNING.
be and the same is hereby accepted, as requested by the owners,
and made a part of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, and
said real property is hereby zoned as follows: The South 150 feet
to be "C" Commercial, and the balance "0" Industrial.
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall cause one (1) copy of
the legal description and map which shall plainly and clearly
designate the boundaries as altered, to be filed with the Ada County
Recorder, Ada County Assessor, and the State Tax Commission within
10 days following the effective date of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect

from and after its passage, approval and publication as required
by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved Qy the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 18th day or December, 1978.
