AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1-704 OF THE REVISED AND COMPILED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, DEALING
WITH CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1: That Section 1-704 of the Revised and compiled
Ordinances of the City of Meridian, is hereby amended to read
as follows:
1-704: TIME AND PLACE OF MEEl'INGS: The regular meetings
of the City Council of the City of Meridian shall be held at
such place as may be designated from time on tome by the Mayor
and City Council in the City of Meridian, on the first and third
Mondays of each month at 7:30 o'clock P.M., of said days.
If the said first or third Monday of any month is a holiday, the
meeting shall be held the evening following at the same hour.
Section 2: WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which
emergency is hereby declared to-exist, this Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 24th day of February, 1978.
