ORDINANCE NO. 302
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN RmULATING THE CONSUMPTION
OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN THE MERIDIAN CITY PARK IN THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, fillA COUNTY, IDAHO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PROHIBITED IN THE MERIDIAN
CITY PARK: It shall be unlawful and illegal for any person or
persons to consume or have in their possession, any type of
alcoholic beverage in any shape or form, in or on the City Park
of the City of Meridian. Any person violating this section is
guilty of a misdemeanor, the penalty for which is the sum of
$250~OO and/or thirty (30) days in the City Jail.
"Section 2. . WHEREAS,there is an emergency therefor, which
emergency is hereby declared. to exist, this Ordinance shall
take.effect and-be .in force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication as required by law.
,Passed by the City Council and approved-by the Mayor of
the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 7th day of March,
1977~
