ORDINANCE NO. 300
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FIRE CODE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
BY ADOPTING THE 1976 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:-
_ 2-1Q01: ADOPrION OF UNIFORM FIRE CODE: The Uniform Fire
Code is adopted for the purpose of regulating and governing
conditions hazardous to life and property from fire. ~The Uniform
Fire Code, 1976 Edition, is hereby adopted. Said Fire Code,
three (3) copies of which shall be on file at all times in the
Office of the Clerk of the City of Meridian, shall be made a part
of this code _as if set out in length herein.
WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which emergency is
declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, approval and publication as
required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 7th day of March, 1977.
