ORDINANCE NO. 299
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND ZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY WHICH IS DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
A PORTION OF THE NW 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4, S~TION 13, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST OF
THE BOISE MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, TO THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, WHICH PROPERTY IS
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian, have concluded
that it is in the best interest of said City to annex to said City certain real
property which is described as follows:
BOWNE WEST FRANKLIN ANNEXATION
The Westerly part of the NW 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 of Section 13, Township 3 North,
Range 1 West of the Boise Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, described_as follows:
Beginning at the NE corner of said Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 1 West;
thence West: along the North side of said Section 13,.a distance of 979.2 feet
to a point, the real point of beginning; thence West along the North side of
said Section 13 a distance of 348.9 feet to a point, the NW corner of the NE 1/4
NE 1/4 of said Section 13; thence South 0028' West along fence line and West
side of NE 1/4 NE 1/4 of said. Section 13, a distance of 656.8 feet to a steel I
pin; thence East approximately along a fence line and along South side of NW 1/4
NE 1/4 NE 1/4 of said Section 13 a distance of 348.9 feet to a steel pin; thence
North 0028' East 656.8 feet to the real point of beginning. .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF 'rHE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the aforementioned real property which is described as follows:
The Westerly part of the NW 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 of Section 13, Township 3 North,
Range 1 West of the Boise Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, described as follows:
Beginning at the NE corner of said Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 1 West;

of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, and said real property is hereby
zoned "C" Commercial.
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall cause one (l~ copy of the legal
description and map which shall plainly and clearly designate the boundaries
as altered, to be filed with the Ada County Recorder, Ada County Assessor, and
the State Tax Commission within 10 days following the effective date of this
Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City COUllcil and approved by the Mayor of the City of Meridian
Ada County, Idaho, this 7th day of March, 1977.
