AN ORDINANCE TERMED THE "INTERIM EXPENDITURE ORDINANCE" TO
PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE PAYMENT OF SALARIES. AND OTHER CURRENT
EXPENSE INCURRED BY THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, DURING THE PERIOD
OF JANUARY 1ST TO MARCH 31ST, 1977.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:-
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$50,000.00 to defray salaries and other expenses of the City
of Meridian during the period of January 1 to March 31, 1977,
while the Mayor and City Council prepare the proposed budget,
holds a public hearing and adopts the annual appropriation bill.
Section 2. WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which
is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take effect-
and be in force and effect from- and after its passage, approval
and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of
the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 3rd day, of January,
1977.
