ORDINANCE NO. 296
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND ZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY WHICH IS DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS: A PORTION OF THE SW 1/4 HE 1/4, SJOC:TION 7, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH,
RANGE 1 EAST, BOISE MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, TO THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
WHICH PROPERTY IS ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
,WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian, have
concluded that it is in the best interest of said City to, annex to said
City certain real property which is described as follows:

A tract of land in the SW 1/4 NE 1/4, Section 7, T. 3N., R. IE., B.M.,
Ada County, Idaho, bounded on the East by a portion of Five Mile Creek,
on the West by a portion of the Cottage Home Addition to Meridian, Idaho,
and on the- South by Pine Street, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a brass cap marking the center of Section 7, T. 3N., R.~lE.,
B.M.,; thence H. 0001' E., along the Easterly boundary line, and the
projection thereof, of the Cottage Home Addition to Meridian, Idaho, acc6rd-
ing:to the official plat thereot on file in the Ada County Recorder's
Office, Boise, Idaho, said line also being on the north-south mid-section
line of said Section 7, 957~OO fe~t (58 rods) to a steel pin; thence
N. 89000' E., 226.39 feet to the centerline of Five Mile Creek; thence S.
32052' W., along said centerline, 183.16 feet to a point; thence S.3025'
W., along said centerline, 355.00 feet to a point; thence S. 38026' E.,
along said centerline, 366.00 feet to a point;: thence leaving said center-
line S. 89018' W., 127.90 feet to a steel pin; thence S. 0052' E.,
160.86 feet to a point on the east-west mid-section line of ~aid Section 7;
thence S. 89000' W., Along said mid-section line, 208.16 feet to the point
of beginning. Said tract of land contains 3.79 acres, more or less,
subject to easements of record or in use.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
