ORDINANCE NO. 269
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND ZONIOO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY WHICH IS DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS: A PORTION OF SECTIONS 11 AND 12, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST,
BOISE MERIDIAN, AND SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST, BOISE MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, 'ro THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, WHICH PROPERTY IS ADJACENT AND
CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian, have
concluded that it is in the best interest of said City to annex to said City
certain real property which is described as follows:
RAILROAD ANNEXATION
A portion. of Section 12, Township 3 North, Range 1 West. Boise Meridian and a
portion of Section 7, Township 3 North, Range 1 East, Boise Meridian, all in
Ada County, Idaho, and more particularly described by. metes and bounds as
follows:
Commencing at the South one-quarter corner of Section 12, T.3N., R. lW.,
B.M., Ada County, Idaho and running Northerly 1445.8 feet. more or less,
along the North-South one-quarter line of said Section 12 to a point on the
Southerly right of. way line of the Union Pacific Railroad, said point being
the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
thence Westerly 663.06 feet along said Southerly right of way line of the
Union Pacific Railroad to a point; thence Northerly 200 feet, more or less,
along a line parallel to the North-South one-quarter line of Section 12 to
a point on the Northerly right of way line of the Union Pacific Railroad;
thence Easterly 663.06 feet along said Northerly right of way line of the
Union Pacific Railroad to a point on. the said North-South one-quarter line of
Section 12; thence continuing Easterly along said Northerlyri~ht of way line
of the Union Pacific Railroad to a point on the Easterly boundary of the W 1/2
SE 1/4, Section 7, T. 3N., R. lE., B.M.; thence Southerly 200 feet, more or
less, along said Easterly boundary of the W 1/2 SE 1/4, Section 7 to a point

Westerly along said Southerly right of way line of the Union Pacific Railroad
to the point of beginning.

zoned "A" Residential.
West Pine-Linder Annexation, zoned "A" Residential.
Section 3~ That the City Clerk shall cause one (1) copy of the legal
description and map which shall plainly and clearly designate the boundaries
as altered, to be filed with the Ada County Recorder, Ada County Assessor,
and the State Tax Commiseion within 10 days fo1lowil1.'; the effective date of
this Ordinance.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of
