AN ORDINANCE AMmDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE REVISED AND COMPILED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MER IDIAN t ADA COUNTY. IDAHO. BY ADDING
THERETO A SECTION DEALING WITH THE SALE OF LIQUOR DURING ELECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN. ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1: That Chapter 13 of the Revised and Compiled
Ordinances of the City of Meridian, is hereby amended by adding the
following: .
. 3-1310: CONSUMPTION ON PREMISES: No liquor shall be sold for
consumption on the premises during any National, s'tate. or Municipal
election, during the hours that the polls are open.

Section 2: WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which
emergency is hereby deolared to exist, thi~ Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 3rd day of June, 1974.
