AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND ZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY WHICH IS DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
A PORTION OF SECTION 13, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, BOISE MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY,
IDAHO, TO THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, WHICH PROP~TY IS ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
'WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian, have concluded
that it is in the best interest of said City to annex'to said City cert~in real
property which is described as follows;
WEST FRANKLIN BUSINESS ANNEXATION
Commencing at the NE corner of Section 13, Township 3 North., Range 1 West, Boise
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho; thence West 879.2 feet to the real place of beginning;
thence S. 435.6 feet to an iron pin; thence W~ 100 feet to an iron pin; thence N.
435.6 feet to a point on the seotion line; thence E. along the section line, 100
feet to the place of beginning.
ALSO, a part of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4, Section 13, Township 3 North,
Range 1 West, of the Boise Meridian, in Ada County, Idaho, described as follows:
Beginning at the NE corner of :;said Section 13, T. 3N., R. lW.j thence West along the
North side of said Section 13, a dist~ce of 668.6 feet to a point, the real point
of beginning; thence west along the North side of said Section 13, a distanoe of 210.6
feet to a steel pin; thence South 0028' West, 435.6 feet to a steel pin; thence West
100.00 feet to a steel pin; thence South 0028' West, 221.2 feet to a steel pin;
thence East along the South side of said NW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of NE 1/4 of said Section
13, a distance of 310.6 feet to a point; thence North 0028' East, 656.8 feet to the
real point of beginning.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1: That the aforementioned real property which is described as follows:

be, and the same is hereby accepted. as requested by the owners, and made a part of
the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho.
Section 2. That the aforementioned real property is hereby zoned "C" Commercial.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall cause one (1) copy of the legal description
and map which shall plainly and clearly designate the boundaries as altered, to be
filed with the Ada County Recorder, Ada County Assessor, and the state Tax Commission
within 10 days following the effective date of this Ordinance.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of Meridian,
Ada County, Idaho, this 11th day of March, 1974.
