ORDIANllNCE NO. 248
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-118 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, DEALING WITH EMERGENCY
VEHICLES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO: -
10-118: EMERGENCY VEHICLES HAVE RIGHT-OF-WAY: The driver of
any vehicle shall yield the right-of-way to authorized emergency
vehicles when the latter are operated with audiable signal by bell,
siren or whistle or flashing red light or blue light or combination
thereof.
WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which emergency is
declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, approval and publication as
required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Ma.yor of the
City of Meridi~n, Ad~ County, Idaho, this 3rd day of December, 1973.
