ORDINANCE NO. 246
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9-603 OF THE REVISED AND COMPILED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, DEALING WITH
APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION PLATS, IN AND FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1: That Section 9-603 of the Revised and Compiled
Ordinances ,of the City of Meridian, is hereby amended to read as
follows:
APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION PLAT: No plat shall be recorded or
offered for record until the plat has been reviewed by the Zo~
and Planning Commission and approved by the Mayor and Council of
Meridian and ahall bear thereon the approval by endorsement of the
Mayor and City Clerk of said City. Before any of the above bodies
shall issue approval of plat they shall have received a certification
from the design engineer that the work performed ia in compliance with
and meets the specifications of the plat. Any costs involved in this
certification shall be the cost of the developer. .>

Section 2: WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which emergency
is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall tAke effect And be in
force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as
required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 3rd day of December, 1973.
