ORDINANCE NO. 242
AN ORDINANCE SETTING FORTH THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED
FROM TAXES ASSESSED ON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF MERIDIAN
FUR THE YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1973, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1973.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:-
Section 1. That there is hereby assessed upon all'the taxable
property within the limits of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, for
all purposes for the year January 1, 1973 to December 31, 1973, the following
amount: ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NINETY-ONE and
NO /100 ($135,391.00) DOLLARS.
Section 2. WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which emergency is
declared to exi.t, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage, approval and pUblication as required by law.
