ORDINANCE NO. 183
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY WHICH IS DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS z
A PORTION OF THE NORTHEAST t OF THE NORTHWEST i, SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH,
RANGE 1 EAST, BOISE MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, TO THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, WHICH
PROPERTY IS ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CIT! OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
WHEREAS, City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian, have concluded
that it is in the best interest to said City to annex to said City certain real
property which is described as follows:
ROSS'S ELM GROVE ANNEXATION
A portion of the Northeast t of the Northwest i, Section 7, Township .3 North,
Range 1 East, Boise Meridian, more particularly described by metes and bounds
as follows:: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the NIDi of the NWt of
Section 7, T. 3N., R. lE., B.M., and running S. 88015' W. 630.0 feet along the
Northerly boundary of the said NElf of the Nwt of Section 7 to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING; thence S. 0018' W. 675.5 feet, more or less, to a point on the extended
Southerly right of way line of Gruber Avenue of Chapin Subdivision NO.2; thence
N. 89050'W. 394.8 feet, more or less, along the said extended Southerly right of
J way line of Gruber Avenue to a point, said point being on the center line of East
Third Avenue; thence N. 0007' E. 662.3 feet, more or less, along the said center
line of East Third Avenue to a point on the said Northerly boundary of the NEt
of the NWf of Section 7; thence N. g80l5' E. 395.76 feet, more or less, along the
said Northerly boundary of the NEt of the NWt of the Section 7 to the point of

~ WHEREAS, said property lies adjacent and contiguous to the City of Meridian, and
J WHEREAS, said property has been by the owner or proprietor thereof or with the
authority or acquiescence of the owner or proprietor thereof laid off into lots or
blocks containing not more than five (5) acres of land each;
'~ NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF_ THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, UNDER AUTHORITY OF SECTION 50-222, IDAHO CODE:

Section 2. The City Clerk shall cause one (1) copy of the legal description
and nap which shall plainly and clearly designate the boundaries as altered, tCl be
filed with the Ada oounty recorder, Ada county assess0r, and the state tax cormnis-
sian wi thin 10 days following the effecti,ve date of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of Meridian,
Ada County, Idaho, this 21st day of April, 1969.
