AN ORDINANCE TERMED THE "INTERIM EXPENDITURE ORDINANCE" TO PROVIDE
FUNDS FOR THE PAYMENT OF SALARIES AND OTHER CURRENT EXPENSES INCUR-
RED BT THE CITY OF MERIDIAN DURING THE PERIOD OF JANUARY 1ST TO
MARCH 31ST, 1969.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MA TOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:-
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of.
$50,000.00 to defray salaries and other expenses of the City of
Meridian during the period of January 1 to March 31, 1969 while
the Mayor and City Council prepares the proposed budget, holds a
public hearing and adopts the annual appropriation bill.
Section 2. WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which
emergency i8 hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 6th day of January, 1969.
