ORDINANCE NO. 175
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING TH~ OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, COUNTY
OF ADA, STATE OF IDAHO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA
COUNTY, IDAHO:
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council desires to establi5h the official
new5paper of the City of Meridian:
Section 1. The following shall be deemed the official newspaper of the City
of Meridian:
OFFICIAL NEWSPAPKR: The VALLEY NEWS-TIM&S printed and published in the City
of Meridian, be and is hereby designated the official neW3paper of the City of
Meridian, and such ordinances, notices;,arid publications "as are required by law to
be given publication in a newspaper shall be published in said_VALLEY NEWS-TIMES.
Seotion 2. WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which emergency is
hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the May-or of the City of Meridian, Ada
County, Idaho, this 7th day of October, 1968.
