ORDINANCE NO. 170
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN AMENDING SECTION 10-139 (C) OF THE
~IDIAN CITY CODE RELATING TO NEGLIGENT DRIVING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:_
Section 1. Section 10-39 (C), Meridian City Code, is hereby amended to
read as follows:
10{J~ (0): Negligent Driving; Penalty: It shall be unlawful for any
person to operate a motor vehicle in a negligent manner ***anywhere within
the limits of the City of Meridian. Idaho in excess of the prima facie speed
or without due caution and circumspection or to operate such a vehicle in
such a manner as to endanger or be likely to endanger any person or property.
Section 2. WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which emergency
is he..reby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force and effect from and atter its passage, approval and publication as
required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of
Maridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 8th day of January, 1968.
