ORDINANCE NO. 169
AN ORDINANCE TERMED THE . "INTERIM EXPENDITURE ORDINANCE" TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR
THE PAYMENT OF SALARIES AND OTHER CURRENT EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN DURING THE PERIOD JANUARY 1 TO MARCH 31, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, lDAHO:-
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $50~OOO.OO
to defray salaries and other expenses of the City of Meridian during the
period January 1 - March 31, 1968 while the Mayor and City Council prepares
the proposed budget, hold a public hearing, and adopts the annual appropriation
bill.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which emergency
is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as
required by law. .
Passed by the City Council and approved b~s the Mayor of t~e City of
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 8th day of January, 1968.
