AMENDING TITLE v, C.dAPTER 1 OF THE REVISED AND COMPILED ORDINANCES
OF IUlE CITY OF MERIDIAN, BY ChANGING THE SPRINKLING RATES WITHIN
THE MUNICIPALITY OF IvIER ID IAN .
BE IT ORDAINED BY T'l1E ]\iAYOR AND CITY COUlI:JCIL OR THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That Title V, Chapter 1, of the Revised and
Compiled Ordinances of the City of Meridian, be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows-: - -
.5-120 :SPRTlTKLING RATES: Summer re-sidenti,al ra tes shall be
available to residential users and apartment hous-8s us ing wa ter
for lawn sprinkling during the period of April through October
meter reading.
RESIDENTIAL AND APARTlVIENT RATE: All water- consumed -through
residential and -apartment meters up to '13.000 - gallons
shall be at the regular rate under 5-122, the balance over
~OOO -gallons shall be at the rate- of 15p per thousand
gallons.
Exception: Any -residential or apartment house user
averaging overl~,OOO - -gal-lons during the months of
December, January and February shall be analyzed to
determine average use of water,. other than lawn sprink-
ling. - This average snall beat the regular rate under
5-122, the balance at the sprinkling rate o~ l5i per
thousand gallons.
BUSINESS, OR COMlVIERCIAL OR INDUSTRIAL RATE: Sprinkling ra tes are
available to business or comercial or industrial meters.
Each account will be analyzed to determine average use of
water other tnan for lawn sprinkling.
Rate for water used other than for lawn sprinklj.ng purposes
shall be at the general metered rate under 5-122, tHe balance
at the sprinkling rate~

City of Meridian, Ada-County, Idaho, this -2.:th day of January ,
