AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LYING IN SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH"
RANGE 1 WEST, BOISE ~IDIAN, IN ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, TO THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY,
IDAHO. . . .'
WHEREAS, The City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian, have concluded that
it is in the best interests to said City to annex to said City certain real property lying
in Section 12,.Township 3 North, Range 1 West, Boise Meridian, in Ada County" Idaho,
hereafter more particularly described, which said property lies adjacent and contiguous to
the said City of Meridian, and;:
n,wm;REAS, said property bas been laid off into lots and blocks containing not more than
five (5) acres,' and said property has been sold by metes and bounds and tracts not ex-
ceeding five acres.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, UNDER AUTHORITY OF SECTION 50-303, IDAHO CODE:
S~ction 1. That the aforementioned real property, more particularly described as

Beginning at the West one-qparter corner of Section 12, T. 3 N~, R. 1 W., B.H~,
Ada County, Idaho; thence South 89048'45" East 2652.88 feet along the East and West
'~ line to an iron pipe, which point marks the REAL POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North
'89048'45" West 165.80 feet to an iron pin; thence North 0015'35" East 664.16 feet
to an iron pin; thence South 89051'15" East 165.67 feet to an iron pin marking the
Southwest corner of the Welker Subdivision, which is also South 0015'45" West 1988.65
feet of the North one-quarter corner of Section 12, T. 3 N., R. 1 W., B.M.; thence
South 0014'55" West 664.28 feet to the real point of beginning, comprising 2.53
acres; also described as Frost's Westside Addition as recorded July 13, 1965 in
Book 19, pages 1296 and 1297 of Plats, records of Ada County, Idaho.
b~ and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of Meridian, Ada County,
Idaho.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance
with the County Recorder of Ada County, Idaho, and with all other agencies and offices
as required by law and according to the-practices of the Clerk.
Section 3. That it is hereby declared that an emergency exists and that this
Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of Meridian, Ada
County, Idaho, this 1 st day of November, 1965.
