ORDINANCE NO. 142
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 139 OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, BY REINSTATING THAT PORTION OF
EAST 4TH STREET LYING BErl'WEEN BLOCKS 7 AND 8 OF THE PLA'r OF COTTAGE HOME ADDITION TO
MERIDIAN, IDAHO, AND VACATING THAT PORTION OF EAST 5TH STREET LYING BETWEEN BLOCKS 7
AND 8 OF THE PLAT OF COTTAGE HOME ADDITION TO MERIDIAN, IDAHO.

WHEREAS, The City Council and the ayor of the City of Meridian, did on the 12th
day of July, 1965, pass Ordinance No. 139, vacating that portion of East 4th Street
lying between Blocks 7 and 8 of the plat of Cottage Home Addition to Meridian, Idaho;
and whereas, it was the intention of the Mayor and the City Council not to vacate that
portion of East 4th Street, but to vacate that portion of East 5th street lying be-
tween Blocks 7 and 8 of the plat of Cottage Home Addition to Meridian, Idaho; and
vvHEREAS, The City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian wish to revise
and amend said Ordinance No. 139 to comply with their original intention and to re-
instate that portion of East 4th street referred to by vacating that portion of East
5th Street referred to.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
That from the effective date of this Ordinance the following describea p1att~d_

That portion of East 5th Street lying between Blocks 7 and 8 of the plat
of Cottage Home Addition to Meridian, Idaho, as it runs from the Souther~y
boundary line of Carlton Avenue (Carleton Street) to the Northerly boundary
line extended of the alley in said Blocks 7 and 8 of Cottage Home Addition.
That the vacation of that portion of East 4th Street lying between Blocks-7 and
8 of the plat of Cottage Home Addition to Meridian, Idaho, as it runs frow-the -
Southerly boundary line of Carl ton Avenue (Carleton Street) to the Nort~lerly bound-
ary line extenJed of the alley in said Blocks 7 and 8 of Cottage Home Aldition is
