ORDINANCE NO. 137
AMENDING TITLE 3,CHAPTER 2 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, BY
CHANGING THE IDAHO RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE OBTAINING OF A RETAIL BEER
LICENSE FROM ONE YEAR TO THIRTY DAYS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA
COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. Title 3, Chapter 2 of the Ordinances of the City of Meridian
is hereby amended by changing Section 3-204 (g) thereto to read as follows:-
3-204:~ (g) To any person who is not a citizen of the United States and

who has not been a bona fide resident of the Sxate of Idaho for the period of
30 days prior to the date of making such application and who is not at the date
of making such application a bona fide resident of Ada County, Idaho.
WHEREAS, There is an emergency therefor, which emergency is hereby de-
clared to exist, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 5th day of April, 1965.
