ORDINANCE WITH THE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR AND THE COUNTY AUDITOR OF
ADA COUNTY, WAHO; AND DECLARING AN EEEDRG:2;NCY.
BE IT ORDAnJED BY THE Iv[AYOR A1TJJ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEUIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
SECTION 1. That there be, and there is hereby' levied upon all
the taxable- property within the- corporate- limits of the- City of
Neridian, Ada County, I-daho-, which is- taxable by law for State, County,
and Municipal purpose's, the- fol-lavJing annual taxes for t.he purpose of
raising reVenue- to defray the- Nec-essary expenses and liabilities to be
incurred in the- City of- l1erid-ian,- A-da- County,. Idaho, for the fiscal
year commencing on January- 1,- 1962anu ending Dec-ember )1', 1962, for
the following purposes,- to-wit:' . .
1. An- annual tax of, Twenty :r.lills on- the Dol'lar for general
municipal purposes of- the- said City of }:eridian.
2. An- annual tax of Five Mills on the Dollar for the purpose
of oiling and maintaining streets.
3. An annual ta.x of Two Hills on the Dollar for the purpose of
maintaining a Municipal Fire Deportment.
l~. An annual tax of One Hill on the Dollar for the purpose of
mairrtaining a Free Public Library.
5. An annual tax of Two Mill s em the Dollar for the purpose of
providing for and regulating recreational programs.
SECTION 2. That a certified copy of this Ordinance shall be by
the City Clerk of the said City of Eeridian, certified to the County
Tax Collector a.nd to the County Auditor of Ada County, Idaho.
SECTION 3. \'JHEREAS, There is an emergency therefor, which
emergency is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall te.ke
effect and be in force and effect from and after it s pa.ssage,
approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council end approved by the Mayor of the City
of Mcridinn, Ado. County, Idaho, this 5th day of February, 1962..
