BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ~i!AYOR AND Cl'L'Y CUUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
If:ERIDIAN, ADA COUl'JTY, IDAHO:-
SECTION 1. That there be, 2nd there is hereby levied upon all
thetaxabl~ property '.v:ithin the corporate limits of the City of
]':eridian, Ada County, Iddio, which i:s taxable by la1\' for stat.e,
County, and l1unicipal purposes, the following annu2,1 taxes for the
pur}Jose of raising rev::mue to defray the necessary expenses and
liabilities to be incurred in the City of Heridian, Ada County,
Id,_eho, for the fiscal ye~r corrunencing on May 1, 1961 and ending
April 30, 1962, for the following purposes, to-vJit:
1. An annual tax of Twenty Hills on the Dollar for generEj,l
municipal purposes of the said City of Neridian.
2. An annual tax of Five Hills on the Dollar for the purpose
of oiling and maintaining streets.
3. An annual tax of Two Hills on the Dollar for the purpose
of maintaining a Hunicipal Fire Department.
4. An annual tax of One Millon the Dollar for the purpose
of maintaining a Free Public Library.
5. An annual tax of Two Mills on the Dollar for the purpose
of providing for and regulating recreationD~ prograrns.
SECTION 2. That a certified CO~)y of this Ordinance shall be
by the City Clerk of the said Cit',. of 1J[eridian, certified to the
County Tax Col.lector and to the County Auditor of Ada County, Idaho.
SECTION 3. ldHEREAS, There is a11 emergency therefor, which
emergency is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take
