AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 2,CHAPTER 4 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF MERIDIAN, FIXING SET BACK LINE FOR BUILDING ALONG THE
SOUTH SIDE OF CHERRY LANE 45 FEET FROM THE CENTERLINE OF CHERRY
LANE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
}lliRIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:-
SECTION 1. That Title 2, Chapter 4 of the Ordinartces of the
City of Meridian be and the same is hereby amended by adding a new
section thereto to be numbered Section 2-427 to read as follows:
Section 2-427: That from and after the effective date
of this ordinance it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or
corporation to construct any building or make any improvement on
property closer than 45 feet from the centerline of what is known
as Cherry Lane running East and West along the north boundary
line of the City Limits of the City of Meridian, in Ada County,
Idaho.
SECTION 2. VJHEREAS,I.There is an emergency therefor, which
emergency is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 6th day of June
