SECTION 1. It is hereby made the duty of all property

SECTION~. It shall be unlawful for any person to tear up
and abolish any existing sidewalk or curb without the written permission of
the City of Meridian and all persons who rebuild or repair any sidewalks
or curbs within said City shall do so only after complianc~ with ~':it.le 9" ,_

SECTION 3. PENALTY. Any person violating the provisions
of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
SECTION 4. ~1EREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which
emergency is declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and agter its passage, approval and publication as requir-
ed by law.
