AMENllING S~TION 8-602 OF THJs REVISED ORDINAbJCES OF Tm; crtY OF
ME:RIDlJul4 BY CHANGING THE DATE UPON WHIGH ALL DWS MUST BE LICENSED
FROM APRIL 15TH OF EACH YEAR TO JANUARY 1ST OF EACH YEAR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:-
Sect.ion 1. That Section 8-602 of the revised. Ordinances .f
the City of Meritiian, be and the same is hereby amended. to read as
foll.wa:
8-602: LICENSE REQUIRED FOR ALL DOGS: The owner or person
having the charge er &n1' dog within the City limit.s ef the City or
MeriJiian, shall on er before the * l!i day et * January ot each
year, make application t. the City Clerk and pay into the City
Treasury the sum ot $3.00 tor each and. every male dog, and the sua
of $5.00 for each and every female dog, $3.00 for each and. every
spayed female d.eg previde. the cnmer thereof shall present and file
with the City Clerk at the time .f procuring said. license, a certi-
ficate of a licensed. Veterinarian that the said. female dGtg is a
spayed. female dog, which shall entitle hiD. te a receipt from the
City Clerk deSignating the owner's name and the number bearing the
number cerrespllniing to that upon the receipt. It shall be unlawful .
for anyone t. make a false statement in said application for saii
license. A charge Dr twenty-five (25~) cents shall be mad.e for
each ('lost tag replaced and issued by the City Clerk., .
Passed. by the City Council ,and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, Ada CGunty, Idah., this 5th uy of May,
1958.
