Be It Ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City of Meridian:
Section 1. All that portibn- of Railroad Avenue, particularly
described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lto 4,
Block 1, of the 'Original Townsite of Meridian, Ada Coun.ty, Idaho,
according to the Amended Plat of said Block 1, recorded in Book 2 of
plats, page 61, records of Ada County, Idaho; thence West along the
South line of said Block 1, to the Southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1;
thence South along the West line of said Lot 1, extended, to a point
where it intersects the North boundary line at the right-at-way ot the
Union Pacific Railroad Company (Oregon Short Line Railroad Company),
a distance of 20 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along the North
boundary line of said right-of-way, a distance of 120 feet, more or
less to a point where it is intersected by the East- line of said Lot

4 extended; thence North, a dlstance of 21.87 feet, l~ore or less, to
the 30utheast corner of said Lot 4, Block 1, the place of beginning,
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned to the owner of land
adjacent to the portion of Railroad Avenue hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of_Meridian,
Ada County, Idaho, as such officers, respectively, be and they are
hereby authorized and instructed to execute and deliver a Quitclaim
Deed to the adjacent landowners, & Idaho Securities Company, an Idaho
corporation, of all that portion of Railraod Avenue south of and
adjacent to the South line of Lots 1 to 4, inclusive, Block 1 Ame~ded,
Meridian Townsite, Ada County, Idalio, vacated and abandoned by thlS
Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance, upon its passage and approval, and
within one month thereafter shall be published in one issue of a
newspaper pUblished in the City of Meridian, and shall take effect on
the 31st day after its passage and approval.
