AN ORDINANCE FOR REVISING, CODIFYING AND COMPILING THE
GENERAL ORDINANCES OF' THE CITY OF MERIDIAN
BE IT ORDAI~lliD BY Trill MAYOR AND CITY COUG~IL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
Section 1. That all ordinances of a"general nature now in
force in the City of Meridian; Ada County, Idaho, as compiled
and hereinafter set forth, be, and they are hereby adopted,
passed, published and declared to be the compiled ordinances of
the City of Meridian, pursuant to Chapter 5, Title 50 of the
Idaho Code, as amended by the 1953 and 1955 Legislature, em-
. powering any city of the first or second class, or any village,
to revise, codify and compile its ordinances.
Section 2. That this ordinance and all said ordinances
of a general nature compiled and codified as above stated, shall
be in full force and effect upon the passage, approval, and
publication of this ordinance in one issue of the Meridian
Times, a newspaper of general circulation, published in the
City of Meridian, and the official newspaper thereof.
Passed under suspension of rules upon which a roll call vote
was duly taken and duly enacted an ordinance of the City of
Meridian at a regular me~ting of the City Council, held on
October 3, 1955, at the hour of 8~OO o'clock P.M.
Approved by the Mayor this Jrd day of October, 1955.
