Section 1. That.there be, and tbere is bereby leTied upon all property,
both real and personal, whiah is taxable by law for'" tate And aounty pu
purposes,in the City of Meridian, tbe following taxes .for the fiScal
year beginning with the first day of May,l942, and ending the tbirtieth
day of April,1943, a8 follows:
For General ?urpose., the sum of fifteen(lti) mills on th~ dollar.
b'or malntenl1nce Of .B'ire Department, the sum of one( l) mill on the
dollar.
For ma1ntenanoe ot Munioipal Band, the sum of one(10 mill on tbe
dollar.
For interest and sinking fund for water Bonds, the sum of four
and eight-tenths (4.8) mills on the dollar.
For interest aoOd sinking fund for Sewer bonds, the sum of three
an;) two-tenths(3.2) mills on the dollar.
