In addition to their storage business, they also have a courier business, They are currently operating their courier business from their Boise facility. Their plan is to move their courier operation to the warehouse building at 212 Nvv 10~' St. and to sell their Boise facility, which is currently on the real estate market. A tenant improvement plan for upgrading the existing offices in the warehouse building, and making them ready to accommodate the additional personnel for their courier operation has already been approved by the city, and construction will begin soon. The next step is to upgrade the existing gravel area north of the warehouse by paving and fencing it to accommodate the additional staff and delivery vehicles. The plan also incorporates new landscaping to comply with city ordinance requirements and a new entry canopy over the main entrance door on the west side of the building. The site has been designed to optimize the potential success of both the storage and courier operations at this location. Security for the new fenced parking area north of the warehouse building will be accomplished using a pair of rolling chain-link gates controlled by a card reader and power operator. The existing parking lot at the northwest corner of the site, used for warehouse employees and guests, will be retained as-is. Surface drainage of all new parking areas will be retained on site. It has been our intent to be in compliance with all city ordinance requirements throughout the design process on this project. We believe that the finished project wil[ be a perfect location for Action Couriers business operations. A more efficient use of the land will be implemented, and the property will be more aesthetically pleasing to its neighbors, We respectfully request a Certificate of Zoning Compliance so we can apply for a building permit to make these improvements.
