BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, BORTON, ROUNTREE, ZAREMBA
A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE COUNCIL'S APPROVAL OF THE
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT FEE OF $25.00 FOR THE FLOODPLAIN
DEVELOPMENT PERMIT APPLICATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, on January 9,2007, the City Council ofthe City of Meridian, held a
hearing on the adoption of the Public Works Department Fee of $25.00 for the Floodplain
Development Permit Application to offset the cost of staff time and materials in
processing an application for a floodplain development permit; and
WHEREAS, after such hearing, the City Council, by formal motion, did approve
said Public Works Department Fee of$25.00 for Floodplain Development Permit
Application; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO:
Section 1.
That the Public Works Department Fee of$25.00 for the
Floodplain Development Permit Application to offset the cost of staff time and materials
in processing an application for a floodplain development permit is hereby adopted.
Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to
implement and carry out the collection of said fees.
Section 3.
That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect on the 1 st day
of February, 2007.
