Re: Request for Continuation of Public Hearing for the Parks
Action Plan
The Parks Recreation Staff respectfully requests that the council continue our public
hearing on the action plan until July 02, 2002. The Impact Fee Committee met on
May 22, 2002 and was unable to make a final decision on recommending a new
impact fee. The increased fee directly affects the six-year parks capital improvement
plan, which is a key compontant of the action plan. The Impact Fee committee is
meeting again on June 12, 2002 to review the new fees proposed by the parks staff
and hope to have resolution there after. We appreciate your patience on this matter.
I will be at the council meeting on July 02, 2002 to field any questions the council
may have.
