Thanks for your note. I really appreciate it when members of our community reach out to share their thoughts and perspectives. Regarding the proposed development, because this is still part of an open application, I’m prohibited from speaking about it while not on the public record. That said, I want you to know that I have received and read your email and I’m including our City Clerk on this email so that your comments will be added to the public record ensuring all members of the Council can hear from you. I really appreciate your email. LC Sent from my iPhone On May 4, 2024, at 11:51 AM, Brenda Violet <momviolet@hotmail.com> wrote: External Sender - Please use caution with links or attachments. Dear Mr Cavener: My husband and I are residents of the house directly across the street from the referenced property on Rosalyn Drive where we understand a multiple dwelling expansion is planned. We want to add our voices to those who are not in favor of more than three new dwelling units on this lot. We understand that six was an option. However, it is our opinion that having such crowded housing would be too much for our small street and not be in keeping with the style of the neighborhood. No doubt parking would become an issue and would spill out to necessitating street parking, making our small street even more narrow, not to mention difficult access by emergency vehicles. We totally understand the owners' desire to develop this lot and would support the plan to build three homes there which would complement and enhance the neighborhood. 1 Thank you, Mr Cavener, for considering our opinion in this matter.
