If it does not get piped the easement will remain the same 30 feet both directions from center of ditch. The following stipulations do apply no matter if it is piped or left open ditch: The Boise Project does not approve landscaping including trees and/or shrubs (other than gravel) within its easements, as this will certainly increase our cost of maintenance. No variances will be granted. All fences, gates and pathways must be just off the edge of all Boise Project easements. Easements must be left a flat drivable surface. No variances will be granted. Based on our conversation, a reduced easement of 40 feet, instead of the standard 60 feet, will be acceptable for this project since the Calkins Lateral is proposed to be piped.
